When founder Kara welcomed her first daughter, Amaya, she searched for the perfect birth-announcement candy wrapper. Finding nothing quite right, she took matters into her own hands and designed one herself, an instant hit among friends, family and co-workers.
By 2002, after the arrival of her second daughter, Marissa, Kara took the leap and left her part-time job to dive full-time into custom candy wrappers. Since then, the family grew to include daughter Chelsea and son Gavin and of course their beloved dog, Hershey. With celebrations always happening around them, birthdays, showers, weddings, the idea for Candy Wrapper Store was born.
